Ken Davis
President
Ken Davis became a member of CUPE Local 900 in 2016 when he joined the City of Kamloops Environmental services department. Shortly after, he became a shop steward, and was first elected to the City of Kamloops bargaining and grievance committees in 2017. Following this, he was elected Vice-President in 2018, and again in 2020 before being elected President of CUPE Local 900 in 2021. In addition to his role as President, Ken also serves as a member of both the Okanagan Mainland District Council (OMDC), and the Kamloops District Labour Council (KDLC).
Ken is a passionate advocate for fairness and transparency. He believes organizations function best when they value their employees, and when they strive to show this through their actions.
Ken has been a resident of Kamloops since 2005 and is a proud TRU alumnus. In his free time, he is an avid camper, and loves to spend as much time as possible outdoors with his amazing wife, and canine companion.
