Orange Shirt Day
September 30th is Orange Shirt Day, Canada’s national day for Truth & Reconciliation. Please ensure that you are purchasing orange shirts directly from reputable retailers whose proceeds go directly to those impacted by residential schools. You can purchase shirts benefitting the Orange Shirt Society here. Read the TRC Commission’s 94 Calls to Action, and contact CUPE BC to receive TRC pamphlets and booklets to distribute at your community event or workplace.

CUPE 900The Education Committee is excited to announce the 2022 Bursary Applications are now available. Deadline for applications is September 22, 2022 There are six available Bursaries: Four $1,000 Open ($500 over two semesters) Two $500 CUPE Local 900 Member’s Only CUPE Local 900 is proud to offer two $500 Bill Ferguson Bursaries to support Member’s Continuing Education.
